ROCHE HARBOR
Probably the most popular boating
destination in the San Juans, Roche Harbor is
one of our islands’ most picturesque. This charming
harbor’s shoreline is dominated by Hotel de Haro,
once a Hudson’s Bay Outpost. While rich in history,
it also offers all modern resort amenities. The formal
gardens, tennis courts, swimming pool, well-stocked
grocery store, gift shops and excellent restaurant &
bar are something apart from the usual tourist fare.
The flag lowering ceremony at sunset is something
